Twr y Felin

Twr-y-felin is a landmark building within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on the St Davids peninsula, it is visible and recognisable from many locations.

The building has a unique character mainly due to the most original part of the building, the tower, which was originally built as a windmill in 1806 by George Llewellyn of “Foxhole”.

Following several violent storms in 1907, the tower was extended with a substantial house and later converted into a hotel. The tower is listed Grade II.

This project involves the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing Twr-y-Felin Hotel, and extension to provide a 5* hotel sleeping 40 guests and a Michelin starred restaurant for the city of St Davids.

The building contract is due complete in 2015. This is one of a number of projects carried out by the practice for the Retreats Group and worked on in conjunction with Aedas Interiors Ltd.
